TEAM OWNERSHIP

BILL DAVIDSON

Since 1998, Bill has served as CEO of National Sports Services. On behalf of the firm, Bill prepares business plans for team operations and supervises the execution of the same with team personnel. He also is active in new market opportunities, feasibility studies, venue development and renovation and the representation of buyers and sellers of sports properties.

With National Sports Services, Bill has held CFO / President positions with a number of teams including the Atlanta Gladiators hockey team (15 years), Stockton Thunder hockey team (8 years), and Harrisburg Senators baseball team (7 years).

Prior to forming National Sports Services, Bill served as President of the Chattanooga Lookouts (Cincinnati Reds AA affiliate) and General Manager of the Midland Angels (California Angels AA affiliate).

Bill earned a BA in Journalism and Public Relations from Purdue University and secured his Master’s in Education (Sport Management) from Wichita State University. He resides in Cleveland, Tennessee with his wife Susan and two sons.

SEAN CHURCHILL

Sean also is the Medical Director for Genesis Innovation Group which is a product development company specializing in advancing early phase medical technology from conception to FDA approval and use.

He has an MBA in Sports Management from the University of Massachusetts, a BS in Chemical Engineering from Colorado State University, a MD from University of Michigan and completed his Orthopedic Residency at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation.

Sean enjoys running, climbing, and ocean swimming. He and his wife have been married 35 years and have 4 adult children living in Colorado, Wisconsin, and Ohio.

He recently retired from the medical field and resides in both Colorado and Lafayette.

STUART GUTWEIN

Stuart is a co-founder of Gutwein Law, a business law firm with offices in Lafayette and Indianapolis, Indiana and Minneapolis, Minnesota. In his law practice, he focuses on serving as outside general counsel to emerging and growing businesses, including formation, capital raising and other financing transactions, operational issues and mergers and acquisitions.

Gutwein is a co-founder of Boulder Group, LLC, a real estate capital and asset management company and Granite Student Living, a property management company. Stuart is also a co-founder and board member of M25, a venture capital firm based in Chicago.

Stuart received a BS in Business Management from the Krannert School of Management of Purdue University and his law degree from the Indiana University School of Law – Indianapolis.

Stuart is married to Alivia and they have four children, Ava, Hudson, Lukas and Mac. Stuart enjoys coaching youth baseball as well as running, crossfit, and backpacking.

BRENT GUTWEIN

Brent currently lives in West Lafayette and is the managing partner of real estate management company Granite Student Living. Prior to founding Granite, Brent owned AAG Venture, LLC, a row crop farming operation and grain elevator that sourced and serviced the commodity needs of Morning Song Wild Bird Food. In addition, he was the CEO of Fred Gutwein Family Citrus, LLC, a Florida based family citrus operation for 10 years. Brent managed the production and finances of the citrus operation for Fred Gutwein Family Citrus, LLC as well as the strategic liquidation of the underlying real estate.

Gutwein is also co-founder and President of Boulder Group – a real estate capital management firm providing individuals and institutions with professional, dedicated and focused attention to real estate deals in the market servicing Purdue students. He is a board member and co-founder of M25 Group, a micro-VC firm based in Chicago. Brent has a small residential subdivision project underway near the Pacific coast of Costa Rica.

Brent received his BS and MBA from the Krannert School of Management of Purdue University. He holds an Indiana real estate broker’s license.

Brent is married with three children. He is an avid runner and recently achieved his goal of running the equivalent number of miles as jaunting around the equator, hence he has decided to turn around and head back home.

TK Kuegler

TK is the Founder and Managing Partner at Wasabi Ventures Sports Management. It has been his lifelong dream to build a world-class sports operation. After a career in the startup and venture capital world, wherein he has been a part of over 1,500 rounds of financing as an investor, founder, or adviser, he decided to bring a lot of that experience to the sports management world.

TK is also an active thoroughbred horse owner where he operates Wasabi Ventures Stables and Wasabi Ventures Stallions.

TK earned a BS in Economics from Loyola University in Baltimore. He resides in Pensacola, Florida with his wife Michele and they have four grown children.
