HOST FAMILY OPPORTUNITIES

BE A PART OF THE JOPLIN OUTLAWS SUMMER EXPERIENCE

New this year! The Outlaws are excited to announce Melinda Campbell and Julie Wells as our 2025 Host Family Coordinators. Melinda and Julie have over 10 years of host family experience and are a huge part of the Outlaws success. If you are interested in being a host family, or to get connected with Melinda or Julie, please send an email to konor@joplinoutlaws.com for more information.

Interested in becoming a host family for the Joplin Outlaws? Your support is essential in providing a welcoming home for our players during the season. Please see below for our Host Family Information Questionnaire and take the first step in joining our Outlaws family!

A home away from home for a player and a family support system

Because it is a great family experience! It is exciting to go out and support your “adopted summer son” and the rest of the team. The Mid-America League is up and coming and it is a chance to see talented college players who may one day make it to the majors! It is a family atmosphere that is just a lot of fun for all!

You don’t really see them much-The Outlaws schedule is hectic, they get in late, they usually sleep late because they are tired from the night before, and they leave mid-afternoon for the field! They don’t have many off days… The Outlaws provide dinner for the players on game days, but the players need access to food for breakfast and lunch. How you do that varies from family to family.

Send an email to konor@joplinoutlaws.com and the Outlaws will follow up with more information!

There is no guarantee that you will get a particular player or particular position or that your player will be here the whole summer. Placement is assigned based on many factors and things happen: situations arise and players leave (injuries, family circumstances, conditional contracts, etc.) Players are expected to abide by YOUR house rules, but you must let them know what your expectations are.
